The steam from a thermal hotel and the dust from a marble factory open two separate fire files in the same province. In Afyonkarahisar, one day passes measuring limescale on sprinkler heads in the hot spring floor in Ömer–Gecek, and the next day testing the pump room with a resin oven of a natural stone facility in İscehisar; in between there are a sausage drying room and a Turkish delight powdering section.

Two extremes in the same province: year-round full thermal hotel, marble facility where stone is not believed to burn

What makes Afyonkarahisar extraordinary is the concentration of two facility types that bear the least resemblance to each other within the same provincial boundaries. On one side, thermal facility stock concentrated along the Ömer–Gecek, Gazlıgöl and Sandıklı line, with bed capacity reaching twenty-five thousand; on the other side, over three hundred marble and natural stone facilities and the quarries of İscehisar. Fire files are opened for both, but the two files share no common pages.

In thermal facilities the main issue is not water, but what vapor does to the system

In spring and bath sections the environment is saturated with humidity year-round, vapor also carries minerals. Together they silently age the piping: the detector's measurement chamber collects sediment, lime deposits on sprinkler deflector, spray pattern is distorted. Maintenance does not end with "is it working"; the condition of surfaces is recorded separately each round. In a facility that is a physical therapy unit, the second heading is evacuation: escape time in the mobility-restricted guest floor and escort arrangement are tested with audible alert testing (see hotel solutions).

In marble, fire is not in the stone, but in the oil and resin around the stone

The most frequently heard sentence in natural stone facilities is "we have nothing to burn." Yet the hydraulic units of block cutting and gang saw lines carry hundreds of liters of oil, conveyor belt is rubber, and the crack filler used in epoxy resin–mesh line and drying oven is the facility's most real ignition source. The situation changes in the quarry: mains water and fire service access are limited, diesel tank and generator are on-site. Since the province is over one thousand meters elevation, winter freezing on external lines is a separate matter. See factory solutionsA zone monitoring module connects an entire conventional detector line to the addressable loop. Critical areas are renewed with addressable devices while secondary zones continue to operate with their existing wiring. This provides significant cost advantage in capacity upgrade and renovation projects.

Sausage drying room alongside Turkish delight powder section: third tissue

The province's food sector is not read by either hotel or marble logic. In sausage and meat processing facilities, cooling mostly runs on ammonia; gas detection in the machine room, ventilation lock and fire detection must communicate with each other. In confectionery and Turkish delight production the situation is entirely different: starch and powdered sugar are combustible dust; in cutting and powder sections, suspended dust, installation selection through cleaning discipline, everything is determined by dust. In flour and feed facilities the elevator–silo line is the larger version of the same problem. The common aspect is this: whatever is installed in the facility is united from detection to gaseous suppression in a single contract, and in any operating facility camera (CCTV) maintenance is also recorded in the same file.

  • Fire detection: in thermal humidity, in marble stone dust, in confectionery powder — three environment detectors soil at three different rates; period is established not by estimation but by measured contamination. See detection maintenanceA zone monitoring module connects an entire conventional detector line to the addressable loop. Critical areas are renewed with addressable devices while secondary zones continue to operate with their existing wiring. This provides significant cost advantage in capacity upgrade and renovation projects.
  • Sprinkler and pump group: packaging–cardboard warehouse where design ages as inventory rises; ring pressure, flow switch and pump activation values are measured.
  • Gaseous suppression: marble facility control room, hotel server room, food line automation cabin; tube weighing and actuator control run together. See energy and transformerA zone monitoring module connects an entire conventional detector line to the addressable loop. Critical areas are renewed with addressable devices while secondary zones continue to operate with their existing wiring. This provides significant cost advantage in capacity upgrade and renovation projects.
  • Hood, hydrant and emergency lighting: hotel kitchen wet chemical line; static–dynamic pressure in OIZ parcel and quarry; autonomy duration in floor fixtures.

A province scattered across nine OIZs and quarries is visited by calendar, not by branch

Production does not concentrate at a single point in the province. Operating since 1984, Afyonkarahisar Organized Industrial Zone carries the center load; İscehisar Marble Specialization OIZ is one of Turkey's first sectoral specialization zones and is the center of gravity for natural stone. To these are added Bolvadin, Dinar, Emirdağ, Sandıklı, Şuhut and Dazkırı Weaving and Apparel OIZs, and Center II (Sinanpaşa) in planning stage. Thermal facilities are not within OIZ, but scattered along the Ömer–Gecek and Sandıklı line.

In return for this: we have no office in the province, and we do not claim otherwise. The team departs from the center in Ankara Yenimahalle and Afyonkarahisar is not placed in a single tour day, but settles into a route built according to the province's geography: morning central OIZ parcels, afternoon İscehisar line, next day Sandıklı and Dinar direction. The date is notified in writing weeks in advance. We do not promise same-day site survey; outside Ankara, a calendar promising this is not realistic. Within Ankara site survey is free; here site survey fits within the first maintenance visit in most facilities. On breakdown the order is disrupted: performed with perform remote preliminary diagnosis error code and zone information. Framework nationwide service, center operation Ankara maintenance page.

Period is determined by standard, not calendar

Maintenance frequency is established according to standard and manufacturer's manual. In sprinkler and pump line TS EN 12845 framework is used, NFPA 25 is adopted in operating and test items; on detector and panel side CEN/TS 54-14 planning–maintenance guide shows the way. The equivalent of gaseous suppression protecting control and server rooms is TS ISO 14520, the equivalent of hotel kitchen hood line is NFPA 96 and NFPA 17A, the equivalent of portable extinguisher is TS 11827. The facility's operating condition — humidity in thermal, dust in marble — can shorten the period within this framework. Method periodic inspection page.

Request quotes with two separate inventories

For operations that are both thermal and production facility, they are not few. Do not send a single list: prepare hotel inventory and factory–quarry inventory separately and transmit as two headings. In hotel, floor count, panel brand, zone number and hood line are sufficient; in production, pump unit, hydrant count, tube number and control room inventory suffice. The two are combined in a single file but the quote is written as two separate items; criteria on maintenance prices page. To Set Up Your Maintenance Program

One contract, a solution for everything: we provide end-to-end maintenance to fire detection, gas suppression, sprinkler, hydrant, and pump units in their entirety; if you wish, camera (CCTV) system maintenance can also be added to the same contract.

If you do not have the brand, age, and last maintenance record of the existing system on hand, that is not a problem; the first step is anyway inventory and current condition assessment. Setting up an annual program without seeing what is there in the field means selling maintenance for a system that does not exist.

You can examine your system brand's product equivalents in our product catalog ; for requirements specific to your facility's use class, you can visit our sectoral solutions pages.

For survey and quotation you can or send your plan through our write or directly You can call call the number. Survey is free within Ankara; for facilities throughout Turkey, the visit plan is established jointly before contract.

Frequently Asked Questions

The sprinkler heads on the hot spring and bath floors of our thermal hotel appear to be lime-encrusted; is this covered by maintenance?

Yes, and in fact this is one of the top items on the list for this province. Mineral-laden steam leaves deposits on the sprinkler head deflector; when the deflector becomes lime-scaled, the water distribution pattern is compromised—the system may appear operational but cannot wet its designed area. During the visit, wet-area heads are evaluated visually one by one, deposit levels are recorded section by section, and heads with compromised patterns are added to the replacement list. A second measurement reveals the fouling rate; the service interval is set accordingly.

Our marble facility performs wet cutting; the place is full of water. Is maintenance still required?

Yes, it is required, because in a natural stone facility, fire does not originate outside the cutting hall. The hydraulic power unit carries hundreds of liters of oil, the conveyor belt is rubber, and the epoxy resin–mesh line that seals cracks in the slabs along with the drying furnace represents a genuine ignition source; to this we add the transformer and panel room. The typical situation is: the valve has not been moved in years, and the pump's pressure switch setting has never been measured. The first visit closes this uncertainty.

At our quarry site in İscehisar there is no municipal water supply; how do you inspect the hydrant line?

At a site without a water supply system, the focus of inspection is not the hydrant but the fire water storage tank and pump group: tank level, suction line, jockey and main pump pressure switch settings, and generator start-up test are measured in sequence. Next, static and dynamic pressures are taken around the ring. Since the province's elevation is above one thousand meters, freeze protection and drainage provisions on external lines are separately documented in the report; in winter months, this item alone is a frequent cause of failure.

In our Turkish delight and confectionery workshop, what can you do about the dust in the powder dispensing area?

What we can do during a maintenance visit is measure and document: the areas where suspended dust accumulation is concentrated, the detector type in those areas and its contamination level, and the condition of electrical installations are recorded in writing. Zone classification and equipment selection in a combustible dust environment are design–project matters, not maintenance; if a need appears evident, we note it in the report with justification, but we do not turn a maintenance visit into a sales discussion.

You are coming from Ankara. If our panel fails, can you come to Afyonkarahisar the same day?

We do not promise same-day service; outside Ankara such a commitment would not be realistic since it depends on road conditions. Instead, we handle the first step by telephone: with the panel's fault code, a few photographs, and information on the affected zone, we perform remote preliminary diagnosis, and some faults are resolved over the phone. If dispatch is needed, which card, detector, or valve will be sent is already determined while the vehicle is still in Ankara; this also increases the completion rate in a single visit.
