From the foundry furnace to the grain silo: We carry out periodic inspections and maintenance of the fire detection, suppression and pump groups at your facility in Konya from our Ankara center through planned regional tours.
How does Konya's industrial structure shape fire maintenance?
Konya OSB is one of Turkey's largest organized industrial zones; hundreds of factories operate in nearly forty sectors ranging from automotive spare parts to food. Add Büsan Special OSB and the district OSBs in Ereğli, Akşehir and Beyşehir to the picture. What matters for our work is not scale, but structure: Konya's industry has three heavy pillars, and the fire safety needs of each differ fundamentally.
Foundry and metal processing. Konya is Turkey's leader in the number of operations in pig iron, spheroidal graphite, and steel casting; hundreds of companies work in this field in the city. Melting furnaces and hot mold lines mean an environment where water suppression cannot be used at every point. Gas suppression in panel and control rooms, hydrant and fire cabinet lines on site, and detection suited to dust and heat in production areas stand out. For transformer and distribution side energy and transformer solutions are a separate heading.
Machinery and agricultural machinery manufacturing. Konya is a leading production center in Turkey for agricultural machinery and mill machinery. Welding, paint booth, hydraulic testing and machining are gathered under one roof; sprinklers, paint booth protection and properly zoned detection must work together. General framework factory solutions page.
Storage. Konya is a grain hub: flour and feed facilities, steel silos, licensed warehouses and high-rack spare parts warehouses within the OSB. Sprinkler design in racked warehouses, heat detection in silo and elevator lines is determining; see warehouse and storage solutionsA zone monitoring module connects an entire conventional detector line to the addressable loop. Critical areas are renewed with addressable devices while secondary zones continue to operate with their existing wiring. This provides significant cost advantage in capacity upgrade and renovation projects.
| Facility type | Prominent system | Critical point in maintenance |
|---|---|---|
| Foundry / metal processing | Gas suppression (panel), hydrant, detection | Detector blinding, cylinder weighing and pressure |
| Machinery and agricultural machinery manufacturing | Sprinkler, paint booth suppression, detection | Paint booth, hydraulic oil areas, zone tests |
| Silo / flour / feed facility | Heat detection, hydrant, pump unit | Elevator-belt line, organic dust, pump test records |
| High-bay warehouse | Sprinkler, cabinet-hydrant line | Rack layout change, valve and flow switches |
Three typical maintenance scenarios from Konya
- Blinded detectors in a foundry facility. Foundry dust and smoke fill the optical detector's chamber; the detector first produces false alarms, then goes silent. A silent detector may not show a fault on the panel. In maintenance we perform real smoke tests in each zone; the blinded detector is cleaned or replaced, and we recommend switching to heat detectors in locations where the environment is unsuitable.
- Flour/feed facility and silo line. Elevator shafts and belt drives are heat sources; organic dust increases the fire load. Heat detection line testing, filling and pressure control of gas suppression in panel rooms, pressure measurement of the hydrant line around the silo are gathered in one visit.
- High-rack spare parts warehouse. Rack layout has changed but sprinkler protection remains according to the old layout; the system appears to work but the design is invalid. In inspection we evaluate rack-sprinkler compatibility, valves and flow switches, and pump weekly test records together.
Service model from Ankara center to Konya
We have not opened a branch in Konya. Our center is in Ankara, Konya is approximately three hours by road. For this reason we operate in two modes:
- Scheduled maintenance tour. We group periodic inspections in Konya with regional tours; multiple facilities are visited in the same tour. We request planning 1-2 weeks in advance for survey and inspection. A "we'll be there tomorrow" model is not an honest promise outside Ankara.
- Remote pre-diagnosis and dispatch in urgent breakdown. We narrow down the failure remotely first using central fault code, photos and video; in most cases the team departs on a single trip with the correct spare parts. Procedure emergency repair service page.
Inspection scope and test items periodic inspection are explained on the page; how pricing is formed maintenance prices is explained on the page. Konya is not the only example of this model; nationwide service it operates on the same logic. For detector, button, sprinkler and filling needs products page.

To Set Up Your Maintenance Program
One contract, a solution for everything: we provide end-to-end maintenance to fire detection, gas suppression, sprinkler, hydrant, and pump units in their entirety; if you wish, camera (CCTV) system maintenance can also be added to the same contract.
If you do not have the brand, age, and last maintenance record of the existing system on hand, that is not a problem; the first step is anyway inventory and current condition assessment. Setting up an annual program without seeing what is there in the field means selling maintenance for a system that does not exist.
You can examine your system brand's product equivalents in our product catalog ; for requirements specific to your facility's use class, you can visit our sectoral solutions pages.
For survey and quotation you can or send your plan through our write or directly You can call call the number. Survey is free within Ankara; for facilities throughout Turkey, the visit plan is established jointly before contract.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which areas of Konya do you service?
Central districts, Konya OSB and Büsan Special OSB are prioritized; facilities in districts such as Ereğli, Akşehir, and Beyşehir are also added to tour schedules. As the number of facilities in the same area increases, tour frequency increases.
How far in advance is planning required for survey and periodic inspection?
Since Konya tours are regionally grouped, we request appointments 1-2 weeks in advance. Emergency failures are outside this plan; the process begins the same day with remote preliminary diagnosis, and team dispatch is planned according to the type of failure.
Detectors frequently give false alarms at our foundry facility. Will maintenance resolve this?
Mostly yes. Foundry dust obscures optical detectors; the situation becomes clear through cleaning and zone-based smoke testing. In environments that are unsuitable, we recommend alternative detection types such as heat detectors. Simply silencing the alarm is not a solution.
What inspections do you perform at silo and flour facilities?
Testing of heat detection on elevator and conveyor lines, control panel alarm center zone control, weighing and pressure inspection of gas suppression in control rooms, pressure measurement of hydrant lines and pump units, and test records.
If a failure occurs during contracted maintenance, when will the team arrive in Konya?
The process begins when you answer the phone: the failure is narrowed down remotely using control panel error codes and photographs. In critical failures, the team departs at the earliest schedulable time. We do not provide a definite time without seeing the type of failure; we do not commit in advance to same-day response outside Ankara.
