Planned maintenance for textile, chemical and storage facilities in the Çerkezköy–Çorlu OSB zone: periodic inspection, maintenance and emergency service in fire detection, sprinkler, gas and foam suppression, pump group and emergency lighting.
Tekirdağ's industrial structure: two OIZ bands and one port
Tekirdağ industry is concentrated in two bands. In the north there is the Çerkezköy–Kapaklı–Veliköy line: Çerkezköy OIZ alone Çerkezköy OIZ houses approximately 290 facilities; the emphasis is on textiles, followed by rubber-plastic and chemicals. In the south the Çorlu–Ergene axis extends: Çorlu 1 OIZ, Ergene 1 and Ergene 2 OIZ, Velimeşe OIZ known for paint-finishing facilities, and Çorlu Leather Specialization and Mixed OIZ established for leather processing. The Europe Free Zone in Çorlu and the Asyaport container port in Barbaros add a warehouse and logistics ring to this production band. Production investments overflowing from Istanbul settle mostly in these two bands.
From a fire safety perspective, this picture means three different risk profiles: textile production with high fiber and dust load, process facilities containing flammable chemicals and solvents, high-rack warehouses and storehouses. The maintenance priorities of all three differ from each other.
Systems emphasized according to facility structure
| Structure | Highlighted systems | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Textile: yarn, weaving, paint-finishing | Sprinkler, hydrant and fire cabinet, addressable detection | Fiber dust increases both combustion load and detector fouling; large production halls require sprinkler and internal hydrant systems. See factory solutionsA zone monitoring module connects an entire conventional detector line to the addressable loop. Critical areas are renewed with addressable devices while secondary zones continue to operate with their existing wiring. This provides significant cost advantage in capacity upgrade and renovation projects. |
| Chemistry, rubber-plastic, leather | Foam extinguishing; gaseous extinguishing in panel and transformer rooms | Solvents and process chemicals cannot be controlled with water alone; for energy rooms see energy and transformer solutionsA zone monitoring module connects an entire conventional detector line to the addressable loop. Critical areas are renewed with addressable devices while secondary zones continue to operate with their existing wiring. This provides significant cost advantage in capacity upgrade and renovation projects. |
| Warehouse, logistics, free zone | Inter-rack sprinkler, hydrant circulation, emergency lighting | High-rack layout leaves ceiling sprinkler inadequate on its own. See warehouse and storage solutionsA zone monitoring module connects an entire conventional detector line to the addressable loop. Critical areas are renewed with addressable devices while secondary zones continue to operate with their existing wiring. This provides significant cost advantage in capacity upgrade and renovation projects. |
Maintenance scenarios specific to Tekirdağ
Paint-finishing line: fiber dust and ramöz ducts
In finishing facilities in the Ergene–Velimeşe basin, the smoke detector chamber fills with fibers over months. Dirty detector misleads in two ways: either it produces false alarms or loses sensitivity. Testing run without cleaning most often yields a "sound" result; for this reason, maintenance performs cleaning first, then sensitivity measurement. Fat-fiber mixture accumulating in exhaust ducts of ramöz (drying) lines represents a separate ignition source; the type and location of detection around the duct are reviewed during the maintenance round.
Chemistry and rubber facility: foam concentrate and gas cylinders
In a foam system, no one opens the proportioner and concentrate tank for years; if concentrate has reached its shelf life, the piping may look sound but the system produces no foam. FM-200/Novec cylinders undergo pressure and weight control; if leakage exists, refilling is scheduled. If the panel room door and cable passages are damaged, gas density will not hold; room integrity is included in the maintenance scope.
Warehouse and port-area storage: rack layout and winter preparation
Warehouse operations raise racks over time, narrow corridors; sprinkler coverage deteriorates silently. During the maintenance round, current rack layout is compared with sprinkler placement. In Thrace winter, exterior hydrant line and pump room are checked against freezing; emergency lighting batteries undergo duration testing.
Thrace round: planning on the Çerkezköy–Çorlu line
Our center is in Ankara (see Ankara maintenance page); we have no branch in Tekirdağ; Thrace operations are planned by route logic. Planned maintenance proceeds by regional visit round : facilities in Çerkezköy, Kapaklı, Çorlu, Ergene and Marmaraereğlisi are grouped in the same round window. This model distributes road cost not to a single job but across the route; in return, survey and maintenance date must be planned in advance. In emergency failure, the process begins with remote pre-diagnosis: panel fault code, photograph and circuit information are obtained; a portion of problems close with telephone-described intervention, if necessary the team departs with the correct spare part. For details see nationwide service and emergency repair service pages; scope of inspection is on the periodic inspection page, pricing logic is on the maintenance prices page.

To Set Up Your Maintenance Program
One contract, a solution for everything: we provide end-to-end maintenance to fire detection, gas suppression, sprinkler, hydrant, and pump units in their entirety; if you wish, camera (CCTV) system maintenance can also be added to the same contract.
If you do not have the brand, age, and last maintenance record of the existing system on hand, that is not a problem; the first step is anyway inventory and current condition assessment. Setting up an annual program without seeing what is there in the field means selling maintenance for a system that does not exist.
You can examine your system brand's product equivalents in our product catalog ; for requirements specific to your facility's use class, you can visit our sectoral solutions pages.
For survey and quotation you can or send your plan through our write or directly You can call call the number. Survey is free within Ankara; for facilities throughout Turkey, the visit plan is established jointly before contract.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which areas in Tekirdağ do you service?
Çerkezköy, Kapaklı, and Veliköy OSB zone; Çorlu, Ergene, Velimeşe, and Çorlu Deri OSB axis; Free Trade Zone of Europe, Marmaraereğlisi and Süleymanpaşa–Barbaros line warehouses and storage facilities. Other facilities throughout the province are also scheduled within the same regional tour.
How far in advance should we plan for a site survey?
Scheduled maintenance and surveys are grouped within the Thrace regional tour. If you submit your request before the tour window, the survey is incorporated into the same tour and the confirmed date is notified in writing. Emergency breakdown is handled separately and independently of this schedule.
Can you respond to an emergency breakdown in Tekirdağ on the same day?
To be honest, we cannot guarantee same-day response; our head office is in Ankara. The process begins immediately with remote preliminary diagnosis: fault code on the panel and photographs are used to resolve some issues by phone. If crew dispatch is necessary, it is scheduled in the nearest available window based on the criticality of the breakdown, with the correct spare parts.
Detectors in our textile facility frequently become soiled and we experience false alarms. What is done during maintenance?
Fiber dust fills the detector chamber; this is the source of both false alarms and loss of sensitivity. During maintenance, detectors are cleaned, then sensitivity measurement is performed; at chronically soiled locations, heat detector installation or alternative placement is recommended. Testing conducted without cleaning is misleading.
Why is in-facility maintenance necessary when the OSB has shared hydrant infrastructure?
OSB infrastructure covers the network outside the plot boundary. In-facility pump group, sprinkler, fire cabinets, detection and suppression systems are the responsibility of the operator; in inspection and insurance processes, in-facility maintenance and test records are required.
