Fire system maintenance in Balıkesir operates on two separate schedules: the Bandırma fertilizer-port line and poultry integration facilities follow shift hours, while the bay's olive oil and accommodation facilities follow a seasonal calendar. From Balıkesir Industrial Zone to Gönen Leather Industrial Zone, we establish periodic inspection and fault service from the detection panel to the pump room while observing both schedules simultaneously.

Shift-working north, seasonally-living south

In the north, the clock never stops: Bandırma, where Eti Maden's boron and acid factories, BAGFAŞ's fertilizer facilities, the port, and Bandırma OSB stack upon the same line; the same geography integrated with slaughterhouse, feed mill, hatchery and cold storage poultry production is one of Turkey's major weight centers. In the south, the calendar writes the season: the olive and olive oil facilities of Edremit Gulf fill and empty with harvest, the accommodation facilities of the coastal strip transition from summer crowds to winter silence; the olive products specialty OSB in Burhaniye is part of this fabric. Between the two, at the provincial center conducting mixed manufacturing Balıkesir OSB , and Gönen hosts the Leather Specialty and Mixed OSB established for leather processing.

These two worlds with different clocks meet at the maintenance desk in a single contract: from Bandırma's acid vapor-resistant sensing to the slaughterhouse sprinklers, from the tannery's foam line to the gulf depot's pump room, whatever is installed the same team undertakes; at points where the image is critical, like the warehouses behind the quay, camera (CCTV) system maintenance is written into the contract.

Bandırma's chemistry demands foam, the slaughterhouse's washing demands IP class

In Balıkesir, steam, water, and waiting determine the maintenance agenda

In Bandırma, the fault the test cannot see: corrosion

Around fertilizer and acid production, detector contacts, siren circuits and panel cards gradually wear away with acid vapor. Function testing does not reveal this process: the device goes into alarm today, does not go into alarm six months from now. For this reason, in Bandırma line maintenance, testing alone is not considered sufficient; body and contact corrosion are checked visually and by measurement, and at chronically affected points, changing the detector type or mounting location is recommended. In the foam system, concentrated shelf life and proportioner are addressed in the same visit: pipe integrity does not guarantee foam will discharge.

Dust, humidity and unstoppable production in poultry integration

In slaughterhouse and feed facilities, feather-feed dust fills the detector chamber; a dirty detector either produces false alarms or remains silent. In halls subject to daily pressurized washing, low protection class equipment absorbs moisture and becomes inoperative; in cold storage, internal condensation produces the same result. Maintenance addresses these factors together: first cleaning, then sensitivity measurement; IP class and mounting check; condensation trace monitoring. Since poultry production cannot tolerate interruption, operation is structured according to shift schedule; testing is performed not with the cutting line stopped but when the line is empty.

Seasonal facility in the gulf: the waiting system ages too

The significant portion of olive oil processing facilities operates at full capacity for part of the year, dormant for the remainder. In the dormant facility, the fire system also waits and deteriorates while waiting: the unused pump's seal dries out, emergency lighting batteries discharge, valves seat. The off-season period is therefore not loss but opportunity: comprehensive maintenance and pump performance testing are performed in this window, the facility enters the season with a tested system. In port-rear warehouses, however, as warehouse layout changes, sprinkler coverage silently deteriorates; in tour visits, the current layout is compared against the project.

Route established at the intersection of Marmara and Aegean

We have no address in Balıkesir; the team departs from Ankara each time — explaining Ankara maintenance page the center's operation. We close this gap not with a sign but with geography: because the province sits at the junction connecting Marmara to Aegean, our westbound tours already pass through here. Bursa following the route, the vehicle returns from Susurluk through Bandırma to Gönen, the return leg collects the central OSB and gulf districts. The contracted facility's gain from this arrangement is not negotiation but predictability: the maintenance date is known at the estimate stage, the same team walks through the door each time, reports accumulate in a single file over years. Upon trouble notification, the first task is to make the panel speak — the code on screen, a few photos and circuit information tell which card, which valve will go; some problems are resolved over the line before the vehicle even departs, for the rest, a spare is placed in the bag. The model in full nationwide service page, the fault side emergency repair service page; what is tested and measured periodic inspection, which line items make up the fee maintenance prices page explains.

When requesting an offer, divide your inventory in two: the system breakdown of your continuously operating production site should be one list, the breakdown of your seasonal idle or storage-type facility should be a separate list — the maintenance rhythm of the two is different, the offer reflects this difference too. With two lists you can contact You can callor send files from contact page. To Set Up Your Maintenance Program

One contract, a solution for everything: we provide end-to-end maintenance to fire detection, gas suppression, sprinkler, hydrant, and pump units in their entirety; if you wish, camera (CCTV) system maintenance can also be added to the same contract.

If you do not have the brand, age, and last maintenance record of the existing system on hand, that is not a problem; the first step is anyway inventory and current condition assessment. Setting up an annual program without seeing what is there in the field means selling maintenance for a system that does not exist.

You can examine your system brand's product equivalents in our product catalog ; for requirements specific to your facility's use class, you can visit our sectoral solutions pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can our factory in Bandırma and our warehouse in the central OSB be serviced in the same visit?

Yes; the route is planned to cover both locations in one trip. The team entering from Susurluk to Bandırma and the port area returns via the central OSB and gulf area stops. Even if service frequency increases during peak periods, planning is managed centrally; the maintenance dates for both facilities are coordinated to the schedule during the survey phase.

In our open area exposed to acid vapor, we replace detectors almost every year; can this cycle be broken?

The problem is most likely corrosion, and replacing only the device will not solve it. During maintenance, housing-contact corrosion, protection class, and installation location are evaluated together; at chronic problem points, a more vapor-resistant type such as heat or flame detector, or alternative positioning is recommended. If replacement is still necessary, the correct type is selected and the replacement interval is extended.

Our cutting halls are washed with pressurized water every day; how well do detection and sprinkler systems withstand this regimen?

Devices with insufficient protection class absorb moisture and silently become inoperative. During maintenance, the IP rating and sealing integrity of devices, condensation traces, and feather-oil buildup on sprinkler heads are checked; the maintenance window is adjusted according to washing schedules and shift patterns, without disrupting production flow.

Our olive oil facility stands idle for months outside the season; is maintenance unnecessary during this period?

Quite the opposite: the closed season is the most efficient maintenance window. An idle system also ages — an unused pump's packing dries out, accumulators discharge, valves settle. During the shutdown period, comprehensive maintenance and pump performance testing are performed; the facility enters the season with a tested and documented system.

In our warehouse behind the port, shelf layout changes several times a year; is sprinkler protection affected?

It is affected, and this is one of the most frequently overlooked points: heads remain fixed to the ceiling while stacking height increases or aisles relocate, and coverage becomes silently compromised. During the maintenance visit, the actual layout in the warehouse is overlaid with the existing design; if deviations are found, they are reported, and if permanent high-stacking is adopted, design updates such as intermediate-level protection are recommended.
