The ancillary industry woven around Toyota in Arifiye, the growing industrial zones in Hendek and Söğütlü, the wagon factory in Adapazarı exceeding seventy years of operation: fire safety in Sakarya must adapt to the pace of automotive maintenance. Our Ankara-based team covers the province within the same planned Marmara tour that includes Kocaeli.

The sequence truck waits for no one; the maintenance schedule in Sakarya is built according to this reality.

Scene from Arifiye: on the ramp, the next sequence truck in line is watching the clock, there are twenty minutes until shift change in the press hall and cylinder weighing must fit within this interval. This is the daily rhythm of fire maintenance in Sakarya; because the province's industry does not concentrate in a single center, but is arrayed across districts along the TEM axis and much of it operates on automotive time. Toyota Automotive Industry Turkey in Arifiye produces Corolla and C-HR; the facility, which is the first European Toyota plant to transition to rechargeable vehicle and battery production, has created a wide supporting industrial ring around it. In the nearby Hanlı district, Sakarya 1st OSB established in 1993 houses automotive, metal, machinery and food companies. Sakarya 2nd OSB in Hendek grows with metal, aluminum, plastic and automotive supply industry; Sakarya 3rd OSB in Söğütlü continues its expansion. The TÜRASAŞ wagon factory operating in the Adapazarı center since 1951 manufactures rail system vehicles. The maintenance program is written according to this map: each district's facility type, and therefore fire load, differs.

Local protection to the press hall, air sampling to the battery rack.

ZoneDominant structureThe focal points of maintenance

Hendek (2nd OSB)Metal, aluminum, plastic, foodHydrant line, dust environment suitable detection, zone-by-zone correct extinguishing agent
Söğütlü (3rd OSB) and TEM axisStorage, logistics, food processingRack sprinklers, pump unit, air sampling detection
Adapazarı centerRail system manufacturing, energy infrastructureTransformer and panel protection, hydrant, emergency lighting

On the automotive line, press oil and hydraulic units require sprinkler local protection, robotic welding stations require correctly positioned detection; in control rooms and server rooms where downtime is most costly, gaseous extinguishing is preferred. Our approach to these facilities factory solutions is on the page. With hybrid production, areas storing batteries and electronic components have multiplied; on these racks, air sampling detection alerts far earlier than conventional detectors. Sprinkler placement in high-bay storage along the TEM depends on rack layout — detail warehouse and storage facility on the page; for transformer and energy rooms, see energy and transformer solutions. This diversity is indivisible in the contract: from the gas cylinder in the control room in Arifiye to the hydrant circuit in Hendek, to the storage pump along the TEM, all systems progress in a single maintenance file; because in supply inspections the maintenance record of cameras monitoring the dispatch area is also requested, we open this line separately for facilities asking for camera (CCTV) maintenance in the same file.

Sequence press, aluminum dust, roasting channel

  1. Supporting industry operating with sequence (Arifiye–Hanlı line). At a facility sending parts to primary manufacturing on a timed sequence, the cost of unplanned downtime exceeds its own line. For this reason, cylinder weighing and panel and circuit tests are scheduled between shifts, while sprinkler work requiring discharge is written into the primary manufacturer's planned shutdown week. The oil vapor detector in the press hall accumulates deposits over time: cleaning frequency is increased according to the environment, if necessary the detector type is changed.
  2. Facility processing aluminum in Hendek. Contact of aluminum dust with water produces hydrogen; in these areas extinguishing strategy is set up differently from standard facilities, wrong extinguishing agent worsens the situation. In maintenance, dust collection channels, filter units and grounding checks are added to the list; extinguishing agent types are verified zone by zone.
  3. Hazelnut processing food facility. In hazelnut facilities around Hendek and Söğütlü, risk concentrates on the roasting line: residue accumulated in the suction channel ignites with a spark, suspended dust particles in the air blind the detectors. In the periodic program, the channel interior is opened to check for buildup, detector reservoirs are cleaned and the detection circuit surrounding the roasting line is tested.

Natural continuation of the Gebze–İzmit line: Sakarya stop

In Sakarya we have no branch, no desk, no sign; what binds the province to us is Kocaeli the Marmara tour we share with it. The team public buildings, defense industry anddeparts, travels the Gebze–İzmit line and completes the Sakarya leg of the same journey before returning; the tour date is confirmed by mutual correspondence 1–2 weeks before departure. In case of malfunction, the vehicle does not immediately turn the ignition: the panel fault code, affected zone and device photograph are first collected by phone; shipment is not dispatched until the parts list is clear, so the team reaches the site on the first visit with the correct materials. Step-by-step explanation of this workflow emergency repair service is on the page. If a replacement arises on site — fouled detector, stuck valve, cylinder past fill date — the part products is selected from our catalog. For those who prefer the phone, our line is: You can callA zone monitoring module connects an entire conventional detector line to the addressable loop. Critical areas are renewed with addressable devices while secondary zones continue to operate with their existing wiring. This provides significant cost advantage in capacity upgrade and renovation projects.

What will an inspector see when opening the folder?

In the automotive supply chain, fire maintenance records are a standard question in customer audits. In our report format, inventory, test records with measurement values (weighing, pressure, pump activation), photographic findings, deficiency list and next inspection date all reside in one file; the inspector seeks not the phrase "maintenance was performed" but traceable records. The system-by-system scope of inspection fire system periodic inspection is on the page; to begin, send your system inventory including panel models, cylinder quantities and pump units from contact page, and we will notify you of the first suitable window on the Marmara tour with its date.

To Set Up Your Maintenance Program

One contract, a solution for everything: we provide end-to-end maintenance to fire detection, gas suppression, sprinkler, hydrant, and pump units in their entirety; if you wish, camera (CCTV) system maintenance can also be added to the same contract.

If you do not have the brand, age, and last maintenance record of the existing system on hand, that is not a problem; the first step is anyway inventory and current condition assessment. Setting up an annual program without seeing what is there in the field means selling maintenance for a system that does not exist.

You can examine your system brand's product equivalents in our product catalog ; for requirements specific to your facility's use class, you can visit our sectoral solutions pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have facilities in Gebze and Hanlı; can we consolidate their maintenance under a single contract?

You can. Since Kocaeli and Sakarya are consecutive stops on the same Marmara tour, both sites are visited by the same team in a single trip; the calendar is established jointly for both facilities, reports are archived under the same contract, and the record submission to the oversight center combines both sites. Once the tour date is confirmed, both facilities are notified simultaneously.

With hybrid production our battery and electronic component inventory has grown; are the ceiling-mounted point detectors sufficient for these shelves?

Often they fall short: battery-related events release fine particulate before visible smoke and, dispersing between high shelves, this trace thins before reaching the ceiling. The inspection examines shelf layout and air flow; if early warning is needed, aspirating smoke detection is recommended, and the maintenance frequency of existing detectors is reset for this area. The investment decision reaches you in the report; the choice is yours.

We experienced a spark-source fire in the extraction duct of our hazelnut roasting line; can maintenance prevent this?

Not by itself, but it makes the risk visible: duct interior buildup inspection, detector chamber cleaning, and cycle testing of detection around the roasting line are entered in the periodic program. If spark detection-suppression equipment is absent, its location and scope are documented in the inspection report; the decision is yours.

Customer audits request fire maintenance records; do your reports go into this file?

They do; to be added to the file as-is, the report is compiled in five sections: system inventory; test records with measurement values written (cylinder weight, pump activation pressure, cycle results); photographic findings; list of deficiencies and recommendations; next inspection date. Whichever section the auditor asks for, the answer comes from the same folder.

Our sprinkler installation has not been touched since commissioning; can you start directly with pressure testing?

We cannot; pressurizing a system idle for years risks damage as the first action. Inventory and condition assessment come first: if documentation exists, the system map is drawn from the project; if not, the site is surveyed. Then progress incrementally — each valve is gently cycled through small openings to check for binding, the pump activation pressure is recorded, and the pipe line is inspected for corrosion traces and leaks. Pressure testing enters the schedule only when this picture comes back clean.
