Periodic inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting repair of fire detection, sprinkler, foam extinguishing, pump group, hood extinguishing and emergency lighting systems in Izmir. Engineering service designed according to facility structure, from refinery line to seasonal hotel.

What is the facility fabric in Izmir, and where is the fire load concentrated?

Izmir is not a single-type industrial city. North Aliağa: refinery, petrochemical, steel and port line. East Kemalpaşa OSB and Bağyurdu: manufacturing plus high-bay logistics warehouses. Çiğli İzmir Atatürk OSB: mixed manufacturing from plastics to metals. South Torbalı, Tire and İTOB: food and metal-dominant production. Menemen plastic specialist OSB: high fire-load raw materials and finished goods inventory. West Çeşme–Alaçatı: seasonal hotels and resort facilities. Each fabric means different system, different maintenance regime.

Aliağa: foam, hydrant ring and pump station

Around refinery–petrochemical, the main protection is not sprinkler but foam suppression and hydrant ring. Tank areas and fill islands are protected with foam and cooling spray. The logic is the same in ancillary industry, storage and energy facilities in the region: energy and transformer gaseous suppression in enclosed volumes, foam in process area, hydrant in perimeter. Foam concentrate has shelf life; it settles and degrades over years. Foam tank on-site without analysis gives confidence, not in fire.

Kemalpaşa–Torbalı line: sprinkler and warehouse protection

Kemalpaşa OSB, one of Izmir's largest mixed industrial areas; alongside production buildings, logistics warehouse density is high. In the warehouse the critical question is: does the sprinkler design still fit the current rack layout and commodity? Racks rise, commodity class changes, design ages. This calculation warehouse and storage facility we explained on that page. In food facilities in Torbalı and Tire, cold volumes stand out: in sections with freezing risk, dry-pipe sprinkler, air-sampling detection for early warning (ASD). For production areas the general approach factory solutions page.

Port-rear warehouses and seasonal facilities at Çeşme

In warehouses behind Alsancak and Aliağa–Nemrut port line, backbone hydrant, fire cabinet and pump group; if the cabinet in the loading area is closed, the system works only on paper. On the Çeşme–Alaçatı side, the picture is reverse and seasonal: when hotel is closed, system sleeps. Before opening, detection scenario test, hood suppression control and emergency lighting discharge test should be bundled in one visit; detail hotel solutions page.

Three maintenance scenarios specific to Izmir

  1. Aliağa ancillary facility — foam system verification. Sample taken from concentrate tank, proportioning line tested, foam quality observed on-site in test line. Same visit, diesel pump fuel, battery and automatic start chain checked; operator records of regular run tests foreseen by TS EN 12845 for pump station reviewed.
  2. Kemalpaşa logistics warehouse — impact and valve discipline. Forklift-struck branch line, painted sprinkler head and sectional valve unopened for years—typical picture. Valve line walked end-to-end, zone verified with monitor switches and flow switch; if rack layout changed, design conformance written separately in report.
  3. Çeşme hotel — pre-opening single pass. Detection scenarios (lift, ventilation, signage) tested, hood suppression cylinder and trigger line checked, kitchen team briefed on manual trigger, emergency lighting batteries passed through discharge test. In-season faults handled by remote pre-diagnosis.

Service model from Ankara center to Izmir

Let us be frank: our center is in Ankara, we have no branch in Izmir. Planned maintenance and periodic checks for Izmir and surroundings we group into regional tours; same tour visits Aliağa facility and Kemalpaşa warehouse back-to-back. For that reason scheduling survey and maintenance date 1–2 weeks ahead is most efficient. In emergency, first phone and video for remote pre-diagnosis; most of panel faults and pump alarms are identified at this stage, crew departs with right parts. Phone: You can call. In periodic check what do we look at by system?

SystemTypical check points
Detection and alarmDetector dirt/wet condition, cycle errors, scenario tests, battery
Design and installation of sprinklerValve condition, monitor switches, flow test, head damage, design conformance
Pump groupAutomatic start, pressure switches, diesel fuel/battery, test records
Foam systemConcentrate sample, proportioner test, line and nozzle check
Hood suppressionCylinder pressure/fill, fusible link, mechanical trigger, nozzle cleaning
Hydrant and cabinetPressure, hose/nozzle condition, access obstruction, freeze protection
Emergency lightingBattery discharge time, fixture faults, signage integrity

To Set Up Your Maintenance Program

One contract, a solution for everything: we provide end-to-end maintenance to fire detection, gas suppression, sprinkler, hydrant, and pump units in their entirety; if you wish, camera (CCTV) system maintenance can also be added to the same contract.

If you do not have the brand, age, and last maintenance record of the existing system on hand, that is not a problem; the first step is anyway inventory and current condition assessment. Setting up an annual program without seeing what is there in the field means selling maintenance for a system that does not exist.

You can examine your system brand's product equivalents in our product catalog ; for requirements specific to your facility's use class, you can visit our sectoral solutions pages.

For survey and quotation you can or send your plan through our write or directly You can call call the number. Survey is free within Ankara; for facilities throughout Turkey, the visit plan is established jointly before contract.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which areas do you service in Izmir?

We operate throughout the province: Aliağa, Kemalpaşa OSB, Izmir Atatürk OSB (Çiğli), Menemen, Torbalı, Tire, ITOB, and the Çeşme–Alaçatı corridor. Planned maintenance is grouped into regional tours; multiple facilities are visited within the same tour.

How far in advance must we schedule for inspection and maintenance?

Since Izmir visits are planned as regional tours from our Ankara headquarters, scheduling 1–2 weeks in advance is most efficient. Emergency breakdowns are handled separately and are not subject to this schedule.

Do you perform maintenance on foam suppression systems in Aliağa?

Yes. Sample collection from foam concentrate, proportioning line testing, nozzle and line inspection, and pump station start chain maintenance are included in our scope. We do not issue a "ready" report for the foam tank without analysis.

Our hotel in Çeşme is closed in winter; how should we plan maintenance?

The best approach is one comprehensive tour before opening: detection scenario testing, hood suppression inspection, emergency lighting discharge test, and hydropneumatic tank/cabinet inspection all conducted in a single visit. A brief interim inspection is recommended mid-season; for in-season breakdowns we begin with remote diagnostics.

How soon does a crew reach Izmir in case of emergency breakdown?

We first perform remote diagnostics by phone and video; the majority of breakdowns are identified at this stage and the crew departs with the correct parts. Arrival time depends on the nature of the breakdown and crew scheduling; rather than guarantee a response time, we provide a firm scheduling date.
