4K HDMI splitter operating in 1x2 configuration; it provides the same function as HDSP2P with a different housing and connection layout. Since it performs signal refreshing, unlike passive multiplexers, it does not cause image loss over long cables. It is inserted between the source and displays. If the two displays have different resolutions, the splitter will operate at the lowest common resolution; this behavior must be considered during project planning.
