This is an addressable natural gas detector with an integrated short circuit isolator. When a short circuit occurs on the loop, the isolator removes the faulty segment from the circuit, and other devices continue to operate. It is powered by 24V DC and does not carry a relay output; it is manufactured with an orange border for methane. In buildings with long loop runs, it prevents a single cable fault from disabling an entire section.
