GDR-220M is a methane (natural gas) detector powered by 230 V AC with relay output. Carbon monoxide, which is present in natural gas and causes poisoning, is colorless, odorless, and tasteless; since humans cannot detect this gas, detection depends entirely on the device. The relay output enables valve closure and ventilation triggering scenarios to be configured without requiring a panel.
