CM500 is a detector that senses carbon monoxide gas. Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless; it accumulates wherever incomplete combustion occurs, particularly in enclosed parking facilities, boiler rooms, and spaces heated with natural gas. Since humans cannot perceive it, detection relies entirely on the device. CM500 transmits the measured level to the control panel, enabling ventilation activation and, if necessary, enabling evacuation decisions.
