Global Fire DMD500 Carbon Monoxide (CO) Gas Detector

DMD500 is a detector that measures carbon monoxide concentration with an electrochemical cell. Carbon monoxide is colourless and odourless; it accumulates wherever incomplete combustion occurs, especially in enclosed car parks, boiler rooms and spaces heated with natural gas. Because people cannot sense it, detection is left entirely to the device. DMD500 sends the measured level to the control panel so that ventilation can be switched on and, if necessary, an evacuation decision can be made. Global Fire lists this detector in the same product group as its CMD501, CMD502 and CMD503 CO panels.
