Li-Ion Tamer is the central unit of the shelf monitoring system and tracks gas released during lithium-ion battery degradation process. By evaluating data from up to 15 gas sensors connected to it, it identifies which shelf the event originated from. Through its digital output and Modbus serial line, it can issue commands to electrically isolate battery groups and activate ventilation. It creates an opportunity for intervention before events escalate in energy storage rooms.
