EZVIZ T2C is a wireless magnetic contact (open/close sensor) that detects when doors, windows, cupboards and similar openings are opened or closed; their status can be checked in the EZVIZ app, with an instant notification when they are opened. It requires the EZVIZ A3 gateway, sold separately, communicates over Zigbee 3.0 and is fitted with adhesive tape. According to the manufacturer it runs for up to 2 years on two CR1632 batteries, assuming 30 open and close events a day, and it sends a tamper alert if its cover is forcibly removed.
