Asenware AW-D132A Addressable Gas Detector Sensor

The AW-D132A is a gas detector sensor that connects to an addressable fire detection loop and monitors methane (CH4), i.e., natural gas leakage in the environment; its alarm threshold is 3500 ppm, approximately 7% LEL. It draws power at 24 VDC from the loop and its consumption at alarm does not exceed 2 W; while providing address information to the loop, it simultaneously offers local outputs: DC 12V pulse voltage and dry contact relay (COM/NO, 0.5 A @ 30 VDC). With its own 3-meter range and at least 85 dB siren, it alerts personnel on-site before panel activation, providing on-site warning in boiler rooms, kitchens, and technical spaces where natural gas lines pass. The white ABS-bodied device requires approximately 90 seconds of warm-up time after energization; measurements should not be taken during commissioning and periodic tests without waiting for this period.
