Chained Cap

A protective cap that keeps the fire connection outlet and valve discharge closed; it prevents dust, mud, and foreign objects from entering the fitting outlet when the line is not in use. Since the cap is attached to the body with a stainless steel chain, it does not fall or get lost when removed during maintenance. It is used at hydrant outlets, fire valves, and water installation connection points.
