XP95 series barrier unit for intrinsically safe devices. While passing the communication of the addressed loop, it limits the energy transferred to the field; thus detectors, push buttons, and modules in the explosive area operate as a single system with the panel in the safe area. The barrier must match the series of the device to be connected; XP95 and ORBIS units are not interchangeable.
