XP95 addressed temperature detector manufactured in an intrinsically safe design for explosive atmospheres. Since it detects based on temperature rise rather than smoke, unwanted alarms produced by optical detectors do not occur in hazardous areas where process vapor and dust are continuously present. It is connected to the circuit via a barrier and is monitored on the panel with its own address.
