The socket on which XP95 series intrinsically safe detectors are mounted. Since the field cable is connected to the socket rather than the detector, the wiring is not touched when the detector is removed for head cleaning, testing, or replacement. It is manufactured to preserve the integrity of the intrinsically safe line; it must not be confused with standard detector sockets.
