Twelve-channel preamplifier. Raises microphone and line signals to the appropriate level for the power amplifier and mixes them. The separation of preamplifier and power stage allows the amplifier alone to be replaced if system power requirements increase later. Per-channel tone control enables different microphones to sound balanced in the same system.
