Flanged Valve Body

The body component that houses the internal parts of the valve and is connected to the pipeline via a flange. Since a flange is used instead of a welded connection, the line can be serviced by removing the body. It is manufactured from stainless steel, carbon steel, or ductile cast iron, with the surface coated with epoxy. It is used in various diameters and pressure classes in addition to sprinkler lines, in water distribution, pressurized air, and HVAC installations.
