A device that recites sections (juz) of the Holy Quran at set days and times in cemeteries and shrines; recitation with translation is also possible on request. Separate programmes are defined for Fridays, kandil nights and eve days; its 19-inch rack housing is added to the cemetery's or shrine's own sound system and switches the connected amplifier on and off automatically. Because mosque minaret loudspeakers may not be used for anything other than the adhan and sala (Diyanet Religious Services Implementation Circular 15/1-c), the device is not connected to a mosque minaret line.
