TC-R3440 4HB is a Tiandy 40-channel network video recorder (NVR). Up to 4 hard drives can be installed; recording duration is planned according to disk capacity. It is an AI version: facial recognition, human and vehicle discrimination are performed on the device, so instead of counting every motion as an alarm, only meaningful events are reported — false alarms and unnecessary recording are significantly reduced. When selecting a recording device, total bandwidth is as decisive as the number of channels; in a system filled with high-resolution cameras, bandwidth limitation may be reached before channel capacity is exhausted.
