This Teledata network interface bridges between ETHERNET and serial line, carrying control panel data to the IP network. The Modbus gateway function enables the fire system to communicate with SCADA and building management software in a common language. In centralization scenarios, the status of multiple control panels is consolidated on a single screen; alarm and fault records are read remotely, and status is verified without requiring site visits.
