Teknim TWS-1920 Wireless Flashing Fire Alarm Siren

TWS-1920 is a wireless alarm end device that combines a siren and strobe light in a single housing; it communicates bidirectionally in the 868 MHz band using the TLPWAN protocol, reaching approximately 1250 m distance in open areas over 10 channels. On the audio alert side, it has 24 tones and three sound levels at 1 meter of 80 dB ±5, 85 dB ±5, 90 dB ±5; on the visual alert side, it has 16 wide-angle white LEDs with three strobe modes: slow (0.5 Hz), normal (0.5 Hz), and fast (1 Hz). The EN 54-23 coverage category is given as W-2.4-4 / W-2.4-5 / W-2.4-4 depending on the selected mode. It is preferred for extending the wireless portion of an addressed system in historic buildings where cabling is not desired, in rental offices, and in interior spaces requiring temporary protection during renovation. The UL94 measuring Ø110 x 48 mm with V-0 flame-retardant housing is IP21C protected and operates in the range of -10 °C ~ +55 °C. Thanks to its sealed gasket piezo and adaptive power management algorithm, the 4 x CR123A battery set lasts up to 8 years depending on the selectable ping duration; low battery and sabotage conditions are reported to the system, and the green notification LED blinks every 20 seconds to indicate that the device is operating.
