Teknim TWB-1966 Wireless Resettable Fire Alarm Button
TWB-1966 is a wireless alarm button that enables manual activation of fire alarm in buildings where cable routing is not desired or not feasible. Being of Type A (resettable) design, it can be reset after triggering; no consumable replacement is required during tests and drills. It establishes communication with the panel in the 868 MHz band, over 10 channels using dual-directional and low-power consumption TLPWAN protocol, with a range of approximately 1250 m in open areas; in addition to its status LED, it also transmits low battery and tamper information to the control center. It is compatible with EN 54-11 and EN 54-25, defined with IP30 protection class for indoor use, and can be mounted either flush or surface-mounted. It operates for up to 8 years with two CR123A batteries; in transit areas with a risk of accidental activation, it can be preferred together with the TFA-0165 transparent protective cover.
