It is an input/output module that monitors the status of an external device via the addressed loop and provides control commands during a fire scenario. It has one input and two parallel outputs; since its dry contact structure can be selected as NO or NC, it can be adapted to the inherent logic of existing equipment such as dampers, ventilation systems, or elevators. It is documented for EN54-17 and EN54-18, operates at 15-32 V loop voltage, and draws only 180 uA in normal condition, so it does not strain the loop budget. Its 150x110x42 mm housing is easily connected in the field with 0.8-2.5 mm² cross-section cables.
