It is a module that connects a conventional detector line to an addressed system. It monitors a single conventional zone, up to 32 devices can be connected to this zone, and it has a 500 mA siren output. Its internal isolator protects the line in case of a short circuit in the loop. It requires 18-32 VDC external power supply for operation; it is used when transferring existing conventional wiring to an addressed panel.
