An optical smoke detector connected to the addressed loop. The isolator in its housing isolates the faulty section when a short circuit occurs on the line, and the rest of the loop continues to communicate with the panel. It detects when it becomes contaminated and unable to sense, sending a warning to the panel; the smoke chamber can be removed and cleaned. Its sensitivity is selectable from the panel in three levels, and it is used with the TFA-0120 base.
