Smoke sensor used in ASD 535 detectors; operates with 0.02% obs/m sensitivity. Since the sensor is a separate component, in a device that has been in service for a long time, only the sensor is replaced instead of replacing the entire unit. In dual-sensor models, two units are used and replaced individually in case of contamination.
