Rechargeable backup NiMH battery rod that powers the SOLO460 heat detector test device. Provides 3000 mAh capacity at 7.2 V; its slim body of 28 mm diameter and 490 mm length represents the improved version. Operates between 5 °C – 45 °C, stored between -10 °C – 50 °C. Since it is not dependent on mains power, maintenance rounds can continue with a spare rod without waiting for charging.
