Spray used in testing carbon monoxide detectors. CO detectors operate with electrochemical cells and are properly tested only by supplying a safe amount of carbon monoxide to the sensor from outside; this spray delivers the gas in a controlled ratio. It is used in periodic testing of car park and boiler room CO systems.
