Electronic earthquake sensor with contact output. When it detects vibration exceeding the set threshold, it changes its dry contact; this contact is used to close the natural gas valve, lower the elevator to the nearest floor, or send information to the panel. Since the majority of fires occurring after earthquakes are gas line-related, it is the first link in the chain.
