REF8 is an environmentally friendly test gas developed for periodic testing of smoke detectors. It meets strict environmental regulations. Can be used between 0 and +40 degrees in dry or humid environments. It is important that the test gas leaves no residue inside the detector; products that leave residue gradually contaminate the optical chamber and degrade detector sensitivity, leading to false alarms.
