Siemens FDT241 Sinteso S-LINE Heat Detector

FDT241 is an addressable heat detector of the Sinteso S-LINE family; it detects temperature rise by measuring both the ambient temperature and the temperature inside the detector housing together. Since it uses two separate heat sensors, thermal detection does not become completely inoperative even if one of the sensors fails. Thanks to ASAtechnology support, ready-made parameter sets can be selected according to the location's characteristics; the operating temperature range is determined as -25…+50 °C or -25…+65 °C depending on this setting. The line isolator is integrated into the housing, communicates via FDnet protocol, and within the scope of EN 54-5 and EN 54-17 holds VdS, LPCB, FM and DNV GL (maritime) approvals. For installation, the base must be ordered separately: IP43 with FDB221/-AA, FDB222 or FDB291; protection class IP44 is reached when FDBZ295 sealing element is added to the FDB221 base or when FDB293/FDB295 base adapter is used.
