FDS225-R is a red-housed addressable sounder that adds voice message capability to the classic alarm tone. A recorded announcement plays following the danger tone; the user hears what occurred and what action to take. It accelerates evacuation in hotels, hospitals, schools, and shopping centers where the risk of panic and misrouting is high. It has its own address on the loop and is controlled independently from the control panel.
