Siemens FDOOTC241 Sinteso S-LINE Smoke + Heat + CO Neural Detector

FDOOTC241 is an addressable multi-sensor detector of the Siemens Sinteso S-LINE family; it combines smoke measurement with dual optical scattering, heat and carbon monoxide measurement in the same housing. Since three criteria are evaluated together with neural ASA signal processing, it produces early alarm in slow-burning fires releasing CO, while the risk of unwanted alarms in environments containing misleading phenomena is kept low. It connects to the FS20 system over FDnet protocol and thanks to its internal short-circuit isolator, a single fault on the loop does not disable the entire line; it is classified within EN 54-5, EN 54-7, EN 54-17 and EN 54-29. Operating range is -20…+50 °C, permitted air velocity is 20 m/s, so it can be positioned in high-volume spaces with high ventilation effect. For installation it is used with FDB221, FDB221-AA or FDB222 bases, and with FDSB29x siren base at locations requiring voice alarm; protection class rises to IP44 with FDB295 wet area additional base.
