Siemens FDOOT241-A5 Sinteso Multi-Sensor Detector — AlgoRex Interactive Modernization

FDOOT241-A5 is a multi-sensor Sinteso detector (order number S54310-F14-A1) manufactured for facilities that do not wish to dismantle their existing AlgoRex Interactive installation overnight. It evaluates data from optical smoke and temperature sensors together with ASAtechnology; since the same housing can be connected both to AlgoRex panel in Interactive protocol and to FS20 system in FDnet protocol, modernization can be advanced floor by floor or block by block. The existing DB1151A Interactive base remains in place, with FDB251 adapter inserted between; thus the detector frame is renewed without changing cabling and base. Power supply is DC 21…33 V in Interactive mode, DC 12…33 V in FDnet mode, and standby current is at 200 µA level. Protection class is given as IP43 with FDB221/FDB222 detector base or FDB291 base extension, and IP44 with FDB251 + DB1151A combination; the product falls under CEA 4021, EN 54-5, EN 54-7 and EN 54-17 scope and carries VdS G215057 and LPCB 126bh/07 approvals.
