Siemens FDOOT241-A4 Sinteso Multi-Sensor Detector — SIGMALOOP Modernization

FDOOT241-A4 (order number S54310-F9-A1) is an addressable Sinteso multi-sensor detector combining optical and thermal sensing in a single housing and capable of communicating via both SIGMALOOP and FDnet protocol. This dual protocol capability does not require dismantling the old SIGMASYS installation in one operation: detectors are first commissioned in SIGMALOOP mode, and when the panel moves to FS20, the same devices continue operating in FDnet mode; thus modernization can be planned floor by floor or block by block. Signal evaluation is performed via ASAtechnology; the device is documented within EN 54-5, EN 54-7, EN 54-17, EN 54-27 and EN 54-29 scope and carries VdS G212007 approval. For installation existing bases can be preserved — when mounted via FDB241 base adapter to DB1131A or SPF3600 base IP44, with FDB221/FDB222 bases IP43 protection class is obtained; operating range is -25…+70 °C, standby current is 200 µA in SIGMALOOP mode, 190…230 µA in FDnet mode. This version does not have maritime (DNV GL) approval; the FDOOT241-A9 version should be used for maritime projects.
