Siemens FDOOT241-A Sinteso S-LINE Multi-Sensor Smoke and Heat Detector (FDnet)

Product Code: FDOOT241-A
Multisensor DetectorAdresli

The FDOOT241-A is the multi-sensor point detector of the Siemens Sinteso S-LINE family; it evaluates data from two optical sensors measuring forward and backward scattered light along with two heat sensors using ASAtechnology signal processing methodology. Comparison of multiple measurement channels makes it easier to distinguish real fires from deceptive events such as source smoke, exhaust, or steam. Operating on the FDnet line in addressable mode and with an operating range of -35…+70°C and air velocity tolerance of 1…20 m/s, it has the widest environmental window within the series; standby current is at the level of 65…230 µA. The detector is evaluated within the scope of EN 54-5, EN 54-7, and EN 54-17 and carries an internal line isolator and 360° visible alarm indicator. For mounting, FDB221, FDB221-AA, or FDB222 sockets are used; protection class can be raised from IP43 to IP44 with FDBZ295 sealing element or FDB293/FDB295 spacer components.
