Siemens FDB299 Sinteso Base Adapter (AlgoRex Collective / SIGMACON Transition)
FDB299 is a transition adapter supplied under order number S54319-F14-A1 that enables the Siemens Sinteso FDOOT241-A9 detector to mount on existing AlgoRex collective (DB1101A) and SIGMACON (SPF600) bases. In fire detection systems where detector renewal is performed without removing old bases on site, it accelerates modernization by leaving the wiring intact. The adapter comes pre-wired, contains the detector socket, and its terminals are gray-colored to indicate the collective line; together with the collective base, it provides IP44 protection class. Regarding dimensions: adapter height is 29.5 mm, total height with detector installed is 74.5 mm, and the mounting diameter formed with the old base is Ø117 mm. Compatibility limits must be observed: works only with FDOOT241-A9, cannot be used with FDOOT241-9, cannot be combined with FDBH291 detector heater unit, and removal requires that the FDUD290 adapter removal tool (S54370-S13-A1) be present on site.
