Siemens FDB293 Humid Volume Extension Base (IP44)

FDB293 is an intermediate base inserted between the detector socket and the ceiling surface; when installation is complete, the protection class of the assembly consisting of the detector, socket, and extension base reaches IP44 level. The product with order number A5Q00003945 can be used in both addressed and conventional systems and is designed for volumes where condensation or humidity may form at external mounting points. Body diameter Ø 135 mm, base height 49 mm, and when a detector is installed total height reaches 87 mm; mounting hole spacing 153.5 mm, weight 0.320 kg. The socket seats in the locking channels on the extension base by being pressed in place, so no additional interconnecting component is required.
