Siemens FDB251 Sinteso Base Adapter (AlgoRex Interactive Transition)

FDB251 is a base adapter that enables transition to Sinteso detectors without removing the existing AlgoRex Interactive DB1151A base in renovation projects (order no S54319-F28-A1). In Interactive mode, the FDOOT241-A5 detector can be mounted and operated on this old base; in FDnet mode, the adapter merely provides mechanical compatibility, allowing the Sinteso detector to seat on the DB1151A body. The operating parameter of the old detector being replaced is selected via the jumper on the adapter: the factory position is 5<=>4 (DOT1151A), and the positions 1<=>1 for DO1151A, 2<=>2 for DO1152A, 3<=>3 for DO1153A, 4<=>4 for DT1152A, and 5<=>5 for DOT1152A are used. The adapter, measuring Ø115 × 38 mm, provides the IP44 protection class together with the DB1151A base; the total height with the detector mounted is 74.5 mm. Two points require attention in application: FDB251 cannot be used together with the detector heating unit FDBH291, and removal requires the FDUD290 adapter removal tool (S54370-S13-A1).
