Siemens FDB222 Addressed Low Detector Socket (Flush Mounting)

FDB222 is a low-profile socket for mounting point-type detectors to the ceiling on Siemens addressable fire detection lines; the orange terminal color indicates that the line is addressable, and the standard white (~RAL 9010) body has the order number S54319-F1-A1. Since the socket has no stand-off, it sits flush against the ceiling surface; therefore, the cable must be routed from below the plaster, and for installations with surface-mounted cabling, the legged FDB221 should be preferred. The line cables are installed manually into the spring-loaded terminals without screws in the 0.2–1.5 mm² cross-section range and feature loop contact; if needed, the DBZ1190-AA micro terminal or DBZ1190-AB additional terminal can be added to the socket. Since the mounting holes are adjustable between 46 mm and 79 mm, old holes from previous sockets can be reused in most renovation work. The body height is 17 mm, and with the detector mounted, the total height is 49 mm; the impact and scratch-resistant body, weighing 0.025 kg, is completely covered when the detector is seated.
