Siemens FDB202 Conventional Low-Profile Detector Socket (Flush Mount)

FDB202 is a low-profile detector socket used on Siemens collective (conventional) fire detection lines; order number S54319-F3-A1. Thanks to its stand-off-less structure, it remains 17 mm high, and with the detector mounted, the total height reaches 49 mm, making the socket suitable for flush ceiling mounting. Power supply is only from below the plaster, with the cable routed from behind the ceiling; no cable channel or surface entry is provided. Line connection is established without tools using spring-loaded terminals, conductors of 0.2…1.5 mm² cross-section are accepted, and the gray terminal color allows the socket to be instantly distinguished in the field as belonging to a collective line. With its white (approximately RAL 9010) body and 0.025 kg weight, it is a product that must not be confused with the orange-terminal sockets used on addressable lines.
