The DMA1103D is a dual-action button electronics unit connected to conventional detection lines. To trigger an alarm, the glass must first be broken, then the button pressed. The two-step design prevents the system from automatically alarming if the glass accidentally cracks; only intentional intervention produces an alarm. It is preferred in manufacturing facilities where false alarms halt operations and in crowded public buildings.
