Siemens DBZ1190-AA Micro Terminal

DBZ1190-AA is a four-pole micro terminal inserted into Siemens detector sockets and is designed for conductors with cross-sections of 0.28…0.5 mm². It provides a separate terminal point on the socket body where additional components such as an auxiliary alarm lamp or detector heating element can be connected, thereby eliminating the need for additional junction boxes in the ceiling void. One unit is pre-installed in FDB201-AA and FDB221-AA (generally FDB2x1-AA) sockets and in the FDBH291 heating element; if more are needed, they are supplied separately under order number BPZ:4677080001. A point to be noted when ordering is as follows: DBZ1190-AB, which is for a maximum conductor of 2.5 mm², is a separate product (BPZ:4942340001) and the cross-sectional limits are not interchangeable. The component, which can be used in both addressable and conventional installations, weighs 0.001 kg.
