The DBS721 sounder interbase fits between the detector and base to create a detection and alarm unit that appears as a single piece on the ceiling. No separate sounder installation, separate wiring, or additional holes are required. In buildings such as hotels, hospitals, and care facilities where separate audio alerts must be provided to each room, it reduces wiring load and device congestion on the ceiling; it enables room-based audio alert scenarios.
