Pin-type RG11 threaded connector. The connector's own pin is used instead of the cable's inner conductor; this design eliminates contact problems in cables with thin or damaged inner conductors. It is frequently used in repairs of old lines. The pin length must fit exactly into the socket in the jack; a short pin will not make contact, and a long pin will touch the body.
