Boundary microphone. Placed horizontally on a table or floor surface and utilizes surface reflection to its advantage. In conference table and stage front recordings, it is the microphone type that minimizes visibility. The body has a low profile and does not stand out on the table. For the condenser capsule to operate, 48 volts must be enabled on the mixer. Cable entry is made from the side of the body.
