Reflective beam type smoke detector. The receiver and transmitter are housed together in a single enclosure; only a reflector is mounted on the opposite wall, eliminating the need to supply power to both ends of the line. Operates in the 5-100 meter range and is unaffected by sunlight and surface reflections. The CMOS imager tolerates building movement.
