ORBIS combined detector with a heat sensing element added to the optical smoke chamber. Since both measurements are evaluated together, transient effects such as steam, dust, and exhaust do not individually trigger alarm. It is preferred in mixed-use spaces where it cannot be predicted whether fire will first manifest through smoke or heat.
